The Brocaw Blazers have three practice sites in the Kansas City area including Stoll Park for the Johnson County area, English Landing for the Northland area and Longview CC for the Lee's Summit and Blue Springs areas. We also have several practice sites throughout the state of Kansas.
Athletes are encouraged to attend as many practices as possible. What makes membership in the Brocaw Blazers unique is that, unlike most competitive sports, attendance at practices and meets is optional. This flexibility is especially beneficial for those involved in youth cross country.
Don't worry if you miss the first practice(s) in your area; you are welcome to join the team at any point during the season.
Practices typically last around 50-60 minutes and are not mandatory. For more details on times and contact information, check the location specifics.
Always remember to bring drinking water to practices, especially during cross country training sessions!
